Merry Christmas

I want to thank all of you who are following my blog. I am amazed how fast we are growing. I am working on lots of great content for 2009. If you have any ideas or questions, please feel free to comment on this post. Some things I am working on for the new year:

  • Budgeting for the holidays (yes, we start in January)
  • Starting the financial discussion before the wedding day
  • More on saving when grocery shopping
  • Saving when eating out
  • Charitable contributions and a few other important tax tips

These topics and many more will be discussed at the beginning of 2009.

Please don’t forget the reason for the season. The holidays are not about gifts and material things. The holidays are about family, friends and faith. Don’t make yourself crazy. Enjoy all the blessings you have. I know it might be tough to find those blessing, especially if you are down on your luck, but if you look deep inside yourself I know there are tiny blessings you might be overlooking. Take a moment to remember those little things.

Have a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. I look forward to saving with you in 2009! And until we meet again, enjoy my army of snowmen (which I got on clearance wicked cheap!).
