We spend a lot of time on this blog talking about saving. Do you have a question you want answered? Well, I’m here to help and you could win a prize. I’m running a contest from now until January 31, 2009. The prize?
This thing is so cool. You plug it into an outlet and then plug your electronics into it. It will tell you how much electricity the item uses. It will also tell you how much electricity the item uses when it’s off. This is great for testing your cell phone chargers and laptop cables, which draw electricity even when your phone or laptop are not being charged. Test your television and other components to see how much you are paying even when they are turned off! It’s a fun little toy to play with and it can help you save some serious money on your electric bill. This prize has an approximate value of $25.
So, you want to win this little gadget? All you have to do is post a question or topic suggestion on this thread. The question or topic cannot be something I’ve done before, but it could ask to expand on something I’ve discussed before. The question must relate to money in some way. It can deal with budgeting, saving, communication, paying off debt, lowering your cost of living, etc. Remember, in order to be considered for the contest, you must respond to this post. There is a limit of three entries per person, but each separate entry must be a thoughtful question or suggestion for a topic.
I know you guys are all creative people and you’ll come up with some awesome questions. I will announce the winner at the beginning of February. Good luck!
